Lost your ring?
If you have just lost something, don't panic.
RECORD WHERE YOU LOST IT
Even with a metal detector, we can't find something if you dont know roughly where you lost it. For the best chance of success, we need to have a pretty good idea of where you were and what you were doing when it happened.
Find a landmark to reference. Take note of distances and depths, time of day, and anything else that may help us narrow down the search area. Pin drops are always king! Drop a pin on your map while you are in the location you believe you lost your item.
PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL US STRAIGHT AWAY!
The quicker we can get there and get detecting the better. While in most instances a lost item will not move far naturally, there is always the risk of someone else finding it, or even you losing your landmark or reference point.

WHAT NOT TO DO
We do not recommend you post about your lost item on social media for all to see! We all want to believe in the good of people, but sadly there are some folk who may see it as an opportunity to find and pocket your personal item for themselves. Leave posting a lost ad on socials as a last resort option.
If you item is not found quickly, we recommend you file a police report.
